This Mother’s Day, the Sisters of St. Peter Claver are holding a special event for Mothers. The 'Mothers for Mothers Day' event is a beautiful afternoon tea, in which you will have the opportunity to treat your mum or whoever holds her place for you, while supporting mothers in great need in Ethiopia.
Proceeds will go to support the Sisters of Bethany in their work to provide pre and anti-natal care to mothers living in great poverty.
Tickets are £10 and include afternoon tea; sandwiches, cakes, a glass of Prosecco, entertainment and the opportunity for your mum to be pampered by having her nails or make up done by the Caritas pupils of John Ogilvie High School. Just ask one of the Sisters or contact them at the convent for tickets. Sunday 31st March, 12:30pm - 3pm, Sacred Heart Parish Hall.
